The hotel has an incredible view, really nice beach beds, and the food and drinks are very good. There’s definitely a lot of potential here. However, there were a few things that affected our stay. The hotel has designated smoking poles, but smoking is not allowed at the tables or at your beach bed. As a smoker, this is quite inconvenient, and I personally think most non-smokers wouldn’t mind someone smoking outside in such a large, open-air setting. The staff were also quite slow, and it was often difficult to get someone’s attention to order food or drinks. You can definitely tell that this is a new hotel and that the staff still need more training. There was also a strange sewage/drain smell in our room and around the toilets, which was very unpleasant and definitely needs to be addressed. Most nice hotels also have some kind of signature scent that makes the whole place feel fresh and luxurious. This hotel could really benefit from working on that and adding a pleasant scent thr

The hotel is superb, I like the simple and comfortable design with good view from the room. They offered some water sports/activities for people to enjoy during their stay, the food at the restaurants are very nice too. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You can watch sunset from the beach club while enjoying the pool and facilities. My only concern was the in-room slippers which i suspect it was recycled, my feet stings after i wore it and so i decided to wear my own slippers in the room. With such premium hotel services and facilities, i think this is something that i couldn't accept, would be great to at least provide disposable slippers for guests. There is a spa in the hotel which I think it's overly priced, a 90min full body massage is the price of 4 pax 90min foot massage in town, the skills was so-so as well, I guess the price is offered for the sea view which you couldn't even enjoy much since you will be faced down during the massage. Overall still a great stay and I enjoyed!

A stunning and inviting hotel, that you won’t want to leave. Our room was spacious (even with an extra bed for our daughter added), comfortable, clean and modern with sensational views of the ocean. We only stayed for 1 night but we managed to swim in all 3 of the pools (they’re all great!), hire paddle boards, go snorkelling and have a massage. The sunset views from the restaurant were amazing.

Katamaran Resort Komodo is a beautiful hotel with stunning views across the water. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are well-appointed and maintained to a very high standard, and the breakfast team were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is located around a 10-minute drive from Labuan Bajo, a taxi costs 100k each way if travelling into town regularly. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception team fell short of the standard set by the rest of the hotel. Prior to arrival, we informed the hotel that members of our group had been involved in a serious accident in Bali and had been admitted to hospital, meaning they were unable to join us. We emailed the hotel in advance to explain the circumstances but did not receive a response. While we fully understood that our booking was made on a non-refundable basis, we had hoped for at least some empathy and understanding given the situation. Despite the hotel appearing very quiet during o
