This wasn't a holiday...it was purely a business trip. And when I travel for work, my hotel checklist is actually pretty simple. I don't need fancy facilities because I'll probably spend most of my day outside. What I do need is a clean room, a clean and bright bathroom, a comfortable bed, and if possible, a proper desk and chair to get some work done. When I first arrived at L Bajo Hotel, I honestly became a little skeptical. The lobby immediately gave off the feeling of an older hotel, and it looked like it hadn't had a proper deep cleaning in quite some time. The lift didn't help either..it felt a bit neglected and wasn't particularly clean. My first impression wasn't exactly encouraging...but considering almost every hotel in Labuan Bajo was fully booked, I didn't really have much of a choice. Thankfully, once I got into the room, things got better. The room itself was actually not bad at all. The bed was firm (exactly how I like it), the pillows were comfortable, and the AC wor

Came for the tour, very simple hotel with little amenities. For the price it was okay. Staff was good. Location was nice, close to a big supermarket and the center.

Normally I would give this kind of hotel 1/5 but compared to the rest of the hotels at the same price in Labuan Bajo it deserves 3/5. I have stayed in three different rooms at this place. In two of the rooms the water wasn't working. It either didn't work at all as in no water at all, or it would be broken so water just constantly splashed out of the taps and you couldn't turn it off. And they still want the full price for the room (300.000). ||Also ask for towels when you check in. There haven't been any towels in the rooms I've checked into (in one of the rooms they even forgot to put a sheet on the bed to sleep with). ||Breakfast is so boring. You get 2 pieces of white toast bread (that isn't toasted) with a fried egg. And that's it. So I went out for breakfast every time I stayed here.||I also tried their laundry service (which is very expensive compared to the rest of the country) and my clothes came back still wet and still dirty! I went to the reception too complain, but they to

Subject: Significant Issues with Cleanliness and Maintenance; A Disappointing Stay. My wife and I booked a 10-night stay at L Bajo Hotel, initially attracted by its excellent location. However, our experience was defined by a series of significant issues with basic cleanliness and maintenance that fell far below an acceptable standard for any hotel. Upon our arrival at 5:30 p.m., our room was visibly unclean. There was hair all over the floor, and the bathroom desperately needed bleaching and mold removal. We felt compelled to wipe down all surfaces and remove the hair ourselves, as it was a non-negotiable hygiene issue. We later discovered this was likely due to poorly maintained mops. We also noted that the floors on the third level were filthy and even had worms, which was a deeply concerning observation. Shortly after checking in and unpacking, we discovered the toilet was not flushing. We immediately reported this to reception. The maintenance staff sent to our room did not spe
