This is the worst 5-star hotel experience ever. The hotel asked for my WhatsApp but never contacted me first. I waited four hours for my room, and staff repeatedly asked for my booking information. Check-in was extremely unprofessional: they rechecked my passport but explained nothing about Wi-Fi, breakfast or welcome drinks. I had to ask for every detail myself. The welcome drink required an unexpected voucher and tasted terrible. Public areas were dirty and poorly maintained. The room was unclean and poorly designed. There was mold on the shower curtain, stains on the sheets, and no towels provided. The socket was awkwardly placed in the middle of the bed. Staff entered my room without permission and left stale biscuits. The service was unreasonable. They refused proper packed breakfast for my early tour with ridiculous rules. Outside water is overpriced, local transport cannot enter the hotel, and hotel private cars are extremely expensive. The hotel is severely understaffed. No

We had a wonderful stay at Meruorah Hotel Labuan Bajo. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Ramli, who picked us up from the airport and drove us on our tours, was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. Edi, who checked us in, couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.||The amenities were great, and one of the highlights was the pool area, which was never overly busy, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The views were absolutely amazing, especially from our room overlooking the harbour.||The buffet breakfast offered a great variety of options and was a wonderful way to start each day. We also booked our tours through the hotel, which made everything easy and convenient.||The only area for improvement would be the poolside service, which could be a little more attentive. However, this did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic experience.||Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay h

Meruorah Hotel had been a great place for us to stay for 5 days. The view to the open sea at the lobby and from our room balcony was amazing. We were absolutely so relax staying here. The hotel staffs were so friendly and super helpful. The room and the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable to stay. The best part is for dinner we can just walk to all the restaurants selling various of seafood at a very reasonable price. It's within walking distance, 5 minutes walk. There are also other shops and cafes nearby. The other plus point is Meruorah Hotel is located nearby the port where most of the boats and speedboat will pick up the tourists who wish to go for island hoping. We would recommend to anyone who wishes to explore Labuan Bajo to stay here.

This was the worst level of service I’ve ever had in all the hotels in Bajo I’ve ever been in! I’ve stayed in Ayana and Katamaran and they have the best guest services, impeccable compared to Meruorah. Here’s the deal. Today was Sunday, 5th of July 2026. I called at 7.30 am to ask nicely for my room to be cleaned up, asked specifically because I intended to rest today after a few tiring days of sailing. Arrived after breakfast at 10.45 to find it untouched by the housekeepers. Didn’t say anything until 11.30 when they called to ask if my room was to be checked out or extended. I was incredulous since our booking was clearly until the next 2 nights. I said clearly that my room was booked until Tuesday the 7th. They said they were going to check and apologized for any convenience. I went downstairs to see my friends leave for the airport, had a coffee at the lobby then headed upstairs at 12.18 pm to my room to find myself locked out. Had to go downstairs to ask for my card to be updated
