Great 4D/3N dive trip to Komodo Marine Reserve aboard Nusantara. Good communication from office with pre departure info. Once on boat, briefing/protocol for each dive was addressed well. Groups of 4 with a Dive Master. Diving was spectacular. Saw an array of marine life. Dorm cubicle with fan and light was very comfortable and roomy. Other boat areas good. Nice to do side trips to see Komodo Dragons and sunset hike. Overall very satisfied with boat/trip and have already recommended to several people.

We had a wonderful first Live Aboard experience with Mikumba. Everything was very well organized, solid gear, knowledgeable and experienced staff, delicious food on board. Our dive master Derek was amazing. I got a little cold/flu the second day and had trouble equalizing so had to skip some dives. When I was feeling better and ready to dive again, Derek was so patient helping me through equalizing and we both did a little cele in the water when my ear finally equalized! The dive sites were very unique, beautiful coral, lots of marine life - big and small! We saw turtles, sharks, and even manta rays! Thanks Mikumba for an unforgettable experience.

Unforgettable Honeymoon Trip – Expert Crew & Incredible Diving We spent 4 days and 3 nights on the Nusantara with Mikumba Diving, and it was easily a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Being here for our honeymoon made it special, but the Nusantara staff made it world-class. The Highlights: • The Crew: Truly exceptional. They handle everything—from assembling your gear to helping you with your fins before you jump. You barely have to lift a finger. • The Diving: Our dive masters were experts at navigating the conditions. We had about a 60/40 split of heavy current vs. non-current dives. • Conditions: In early April, visibility ranged from 25m down to 10–15m. The team was great at explaining how the sites and visibility shift (Central vs. North) depending on the season. • Life on Board: The food was awesome with a huge variety. Between dives, the upstairs beanbag area is the ultimate place to relax. • The Bunks: Sleeping quarters can get warm, but there are fans in every bunk and portholes

I did the South (Misool) and Central Raja Ampat trip with Mikumba Diving on the Jelajahi Laut for 10D/9N. The experience exceeded all my expectations and it turned out to be the best trip of my life. The boat carried 12 guests and 15 crew members including dive instructor, dive guides, chef, housekeeping staff, boat men, engineers etc. What stood out the most to me was that the entire crew had a common goal - to give the guests an experience of their lifetime. Every member of the crew played their role to perfection. Our Cruise Director, Abda was extremely professional. His briefings were crystal clear, and always transparent. He was under pressure to secure permissions from the Eco resort for a few dive sites, and he managed to secure them in time. His scheduling, route planning and timing were simply perfect. The dive guides, Kris, Hanzo, and Hawe were amazing. They truly cared for the guests and by diving with them, you will know how much they care about the oceans and marine enviro
