The room was spacious and the hotel has the potential for a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell below expectations. Parking is very limited, and access to the property is inconvenient due to the steep entrance and stairways. The elevator is also very narrow and makes unsettling creaking noises during operation. Inside the room, the facilities feel very basic. The towels are thin, low quality, and barely absorb water. The soap and shampoo provided also feel very low-grade, and the furniture is minimal. The in-room amenities were disappointing. Only one bottle of drinking water was provided, with no tea, coffee, or electric kettle available. Although the hotel has a nice view, it is now partially blocked by a newly constructed building directly in front of the property. Ongoing construction also creates noticeable noise, which affects the comfort of the stay. Another disappointing point was the check-out arrangement. While 12:00 PM is commonly considered a sta

I stayed here only one night before leaving on a diving trip. My room was very large and one whole side opened onto a view of the harbor. The room was clean, neat and spacious. The thing to know is that the hotel is literally built into the hillside with the pool being at the top level. Both pool and restaurant were clean and relaxing. There are even some swings so you can enjoy the view.||The only mark against this hotel, and it is not their fault, is there is construction going on across the street which has partially blocked the view from some of the lower levels. It is so unfortunate that such a large project was allowed to go ahead.||The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the artwork in the room and in the hallways...enhanced photos of underwater creatures. One thing to note, there are some steep steps to get from the driveway to the lobby. Once you are there you can use the elevator to get to the room, restaurant, and pool. But the steps won't be for everyone. I wo

Overall, this hotel is great value for the price. The view is absolutely stunning—I couldn’t stop taking photos! The rooms are clean and spacious, but the bathrooms have an unpleasant sewer smell that lingers. That said, it’s not a deal-breaker. You’ll likely spend most of your time on the balcony or at the beautiful rooftop pool soaking in the scenery anyway. Nice perks: • Free shuttle to town • Free airport pickup Breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced, but it can take over 30 minutes to arrive—so plan ahead if you have an early boat trip or tight schedule. Bonus: They sell large bottles of Bintang beer for just 55,000 IDR—the cheapest I’ve seen at any hotel in Indonesia!

We stayed at Sunset Hill Hotel in Labuan Bajo for four nights and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.||The hotel is located directly in front of a major construction site. Building work was ongoing daily from approximately 8am until 8pm. The noise was constant and disruptive, which significantly affected our stay. Half of the view from the property overlooks this construction site, with another hotel being built immediately in front of it.||The room itself was very basic. There was no kettle provided, the bed sheets were torn, and overall cleanliness was below standard. The towels were well worn and appeared old and stained.||I was travelling with my disabled sister and requested an additional bed in the room. Instead of a proper bed, we were provided with a mattress placed directly on the floor, which was not suitable or comfortable.||As we had already paid in advance for four nights, we felt unable to move elsewhere without losing our payment, so we stayed until the
