It was great until the last day. I got bali belly from restaurant. I hadnt eaten for 15 hours before i had breakfast at the restaurant on site. As i was waiting for the bathroom a restaurant employee came out of the bathroom and i noticed she didnt stop to wash her hands. I was very put off by this. I had been very careful wherr and what are ate. But this really affected me. How unthinkable gor a restaurant worker use the bathroom and walk rihht in front of wash basin and not wash her hands. I find this disgusting. Especially when she saw a hotel guest waiting to use the restroom. Please instill in your staff basic santitary rules. This is basic human decency.

We recently stayed at this lovely resort for 4 nights. Two families of four, each of us booked two villas side by side so that we could be near our children but have some space.||The villas are perfect for a family stay - clean, large and with a small fridge. This is not a 5 star resort, but if you are after a comfortable, family stay, Sylvia fits the bill.||We ate several meals at the restaurant and were very happy with the food. We also swam in the pools and they were lovely.||The huge plus for this hotel is that it is on a swimmable beach. Plenty of resorts may be closer to the town center or look more upmarket, but very few have a beach like Sylvia. I personally overheard one family tell the restaurant staff that they had come from a much more expensive hotel, just so they could swim at the beach.||That said, the hotel is no more than a 5 minute drive from the town centre and the hotel offers a shuttle service.||We really enjoyed our time at the Sylvia and would very happily retur

Best sunsets ever. You get a private, very clean beach. I could lay there for hours watching the turquoise waters and small waves. Restaurant food could be better. Breakfast is not worth it. The room is good but water pressure is very low. Nice pools. Great reception staff - very helpful. Overall, a great experience. Would love to come back again and again.

Only stay here if you are willing to let the cleaners open your curtain after room cleaning, open the lights and let everyone see what you have in your room. Sunset is magnificent, staffs are hospitable, breakfast are nice, beach is incredible, view is perfect. But I will keep my low rating until Sylvia resort can explain to me why they open the curtain after room cleaning and on the light. What if there's valuables in the room? I have complained to your front desk twice, but you all still do it, so I gave up halfway and let you do as you like. This is not supposed to happen and done in such a way. Be better.
