A fantastic place for those seeking tranquility and privacy, but also a neighborhood full of greenery and restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisines (local, French, Spanish, Indian, Vietnamese, Mexican, vegan, and much more, including a delicious bakery and a café that roasts beans grown on the island itself). Interesting little shops with products that aren't all the same, but are artisanal and high-quality. Excellent location both by scooter and on foot (crossing the monkey forest takes you to one of the main roads leading to the center of Ubud). Shared workspace and outdoor kitchen, shared pool, and truly kind, attentive, helpful, and thoughtful staff. We had a problem with the Wi-Fi, and they did everything they could to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. Excellent daily room cleaning. For Valentine's Day, they left a rose, a personalized card, and chocolates in our room! A good balance of tourists and islanders who live and work in the neighborhood. Beautiful temple, s

😊: The cleanliness, the comfort, the care and genuine hearts of the people who work there. The pool, the gardens, the communal area, the front desk professionalism and the feeling of being at home there.. 😢: Nothing.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Outpost. The staff were absolutely wonderful—very responsive and helpful. The front lobby and grounds were well maintained, and the pool was a nice touch. However, the room itself was a bit dated. The bathroom tiles felt a bit worn, and the linens were overused, which affected the overall comfort. I ended up buying my own towels to use during my stay. It was also a bit disappointing that the sheets weren’t changed during my stay, even though the bed was made each day.The mosquito netting above the bed could use a refresh, as there were signs of dust and some dead bugs, which detracted from the room’s overall feel. Additionally, the A/C unit had a bit of an issue with water dripping onto the bench below, which was a little inconvenient.Overall, I think Outpost could really benefit from some cosmetic updates, especially in the rooms. While the staff and location were great, I would consider other options for future stays.

A wonderful place to rest and feel at peace, surrounded by nature. Although the location isn’t close to Ubud’s main hotspots, it leads you to discover charming local cafés that are absolutely worth visiting. What I enjoyed most about my stay at Outpost was the warmth of the staff. They’re always ready to help and share recommendations, especially on how to get around. A special thanks to Ola for always answering my daily questions—haha! Here you’ll find tranquility, connection with the local community, and a great space to truly unwind.
