    I was surprised that the clinic refused to extract a tooth that was already loose based solely on a blood pressure reading of 162. In my view, this reading is not unusual for a 65-year-old patient who is in pain and sitting in a dental chair. What disappointed me was the apparent reliance on protocol rather than professional judgment. Instead of discussing the situation, repeating the measurement, or exploring possible options, the treatment was simply refused. I left feeling that procedures were being followed mechanically, while common sense and individual assessment were missing. That does not inspire confidence.
