    I received major restorative dental treatment and veneers at BIMC Dental Nusa Dua, spending over $6,000. The clinical outcome of the initial treatment was of good quality and professionally delivered. I am originally from Australia and have a complex dental history due to an autoimmune condition and long-term use of methotrexate, a medication associated with ongoing dental complications. Over the years I have required implants, extractions, root canal treatments and deep nerve work. Because of the severity of nerve sensitivity in certain teeth — particularly on the right side — standard local anaesthetic has not always been sufficient to manage pain during drilling. In some cases, sedation has been necessary. I specifically chose BIMC Dental because it is part of an international hospital group, and I hoped that additional pain-management options would be available if required.
