  Dear Dr. Hilda, I am writing to share my experience after being prescribed Albiotin (Clindamycin Hydrochloride) at your clinic in Singaraja for a dental abscess related to my wisdom tooth. While I understand that this medication is effective in treating infections, I was not informed of the common and potentially serious side effects, especially severe diarrhea, which I began experiencing shortly after starting treatment. The symptoms resembled food poisoning and made the experience quite distressing. After researching, I discovered that clindamycin is widely known to cause antibiotic-associated diarrhea and can even lead to serious conditions like C. difficile colitis. I feel that this information should have been clearly communicated before I started the medication, so I could have taken precautions or discussed alternatives.   While the practice can be a little difficult to find it is certainly worth the effort. Dr Hilda is a fluent english speaking dentist with a wonderful caring, professional nature. The dental equipment is state of the art with what appeared to me to be a number of sub-specialities available at the practice. I would not hesitate in recommending this practice to any friends, expats or tourists that need dental care.
