We stayed one night in a deluxe room with a private bathroom, and the experience was truly wonderful. The tent and the entire surrounding area were exceptionally clean. The bathroom was spacious and spotless as well. The view from the room was stunning, with beautiful mountains in sight, and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of waterfalls, birds chirping, and crickets in the background. We slept very peacefully and woke up feeling refreshed and energized. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, which made the stay even more special. The food was all homemade from scratch and tasted great. We also really appreciated their eco-friendly approach, especially their effort to avoid using plastic. We absolutely loved our stay and felt genuinely sad to leave this place.

We stayed here for 6 nights in June 2026. It's hard to know where to begin. The staff were absolutely delightful. They went out of their way to ensure my girlfriend and I had the best stay possible. Having breakfast in their beautiful futon type seating area whilst looking out over the valley below as the sun rose was a highlight of our trip. The food was some of the best we had in Bali and most of it was grown on-site. My girlfriend was worried about sharing a bathroom with others but we didn't see one other person using the one closest to us in the week we were there despite the resort being full. I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the South to give Desa Eko a try. You won't regret it.

Bali is so much more than its busy centres, and Desa Eko was the perfect escape into nature from the rush of the mainland. Arriving here honestly felt like stepping into a fairytale, completely surrounded by beauty, tranquillity, and the raw sounds of nature. Waking up to those views every morning and eating delicious food at The Botanist was incredible. It’s the perfect base for exploring, with plenty of activities you can do either on your own or with a guide for little waterfall adventures around. What made it even more special was the staff, they truly made our stay so much better. If you’re looking for the place, this is it. COME NORTH! I absolutely love it here and will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

I had such a wonderful stay at Desa Eko. It’s a truly tranquil spot tucked away in the Munduk area, the perfect escape from the busy tourist hubs. The mountain air is crisp, the surroundings are quiet and serene, and it feels like a complete reset for the soul. I stayed in the Deluxe Tent with a private washroom, and it was absolutely perfect. The space was very clean, minimalistic, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of nature. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay, always making sure everything was comfortable and smooth. The location is also ideal if you’re planning to visit waterfalls or nearby temples, everything is within easy reach. The restaurant on the property, The Botanist, was truly the cherry on top. There’s no need to leave the property to enjoy an amazing meal. They offer vegan options (which I really appreciated), and I highly recommend the tempeh tacos and the t
