  Akademi Kristus Sanur is more than a gym — it is a place that feels like home. The coaches and students embody kindness, humility, and genuine support for one another. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, yet the quality of training remains exceptional. There is a true sense of community here, both on and off the mats. What makes it even more special is that it’s a charity-based academy that helps underprivileged kids and supports their education — so every time you train here, you’re also contributing to something good. As for the one-star review, I can only assume there was some misunderstanding 😅. Nevertheless, I’m sorry for that person’s experience and wish them well. For anyone seeking a BJJ academy in Bali with heart, integrity, and exceptional instruction — Akademi Kristus Sanur is unmatched. ❤️

  Great place to train Jiujitsu/other martial arts, the coach really patient to teach. And everyone who train here really nice, Thank you.

  Great place. The founder, Coach Geoff, is excellent and supports the local community through his charity. There's also a number of very good BJJ brown belts - like Indri, Surya and Bob who employ varied teaching styles. Safe and strong sense of community, with a mix of local and foreign students.
