  I want to say a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Nusa Medica Clinic Gili Air for taking such incredible care of my three-year-old son, Elia, who developed a chest infection. Unfortunately he was in a very critical condition, severely dehydrated and very unwell. From the very beginning, the whole team showed so much professionalism, compassion, and kindness. They stayed in close contact with our insurance, organized the transport to Bali, and supported us through a very stressful time with genuine care and attention. I truly cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and dedication. You made us feel safe and supported every step of the way. Elia has now been transferred to Bali, hospitalized, and is recovering well. Thank you, thank you, thank you from our family.

  Walked into this clinic at 9pm on a Tuesday to get help for my wife who was suffering from a bad case of Bali belly. Within 20 minutes I was leading a doctor and nurse duo to our hotel. They took vitals, assessed, and came up with a treatment plan on the spot. They provided IV therapy, which got rid instantly of crippling nausea and stayed with her for two hours administering medications. The doctor came back from the clinic with a full course of pills and tablets with clear instructions for the next few days. As a medical professional myself, I can tell you that they were truly knowledgeable and acted in the utmost professional manner. The doctor spoke great English and offer high quality care similar to what we are used to back in Canada. They provided all necessary documentation for medical insurance claim and were available for other supporting documents. Total cost was $350 CAD for home visit, IV, monitoring and meds.   I first visited Nusa Medica Clinic on Gili Air — a solid experience, nothing to complain about. But it was my visit to the Gili T clinic where everything changed. I had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Jhon Trafolta, who not only gave me clear, specific instructions for my wound care, but also flagged that the stitching done at a previous clinic hadn't been done well (not Nusa Medica) — and that my dressings had been wrapped too tightly for optimal healing. His honesty and expertise immediately earned my trust. I told Dr. Jhon I trusted him and that I'd come back in two days to have my wounds redressed by him. He let me know he'd be covering the Gili Air clinic for a couple of days, but would be back after that. Here's the thing — I didn't want to wait, and I didn't want anyone else.
