I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to Dr. Badrul Islam. My wife suddenly became very ill, so we urgently called for a doctor. It was such a serious situation that she was not even able to go to the hospital. From the moment he arrived, he treated my wife with incredible kindness and care. He even came during his lunch time at 12 PM to check on her. Not only that, he visited again after 3 hours, and again after 2 hours. In total, he came to see and treat my wife at least three times in a single day. He also spoke with the hotel front desk and recommended foods that my wife could safely eat. Thanks to those recommendations, my wife recovered much more quickly. We are truly grateful, and once again, I would like to express my sincere respect and appreciation to the doctor. Thank you so, so much for everything.

Can’t recommend Pandwana Medical Sunset highly enough. My wife and I were on honeymoon and got progressively sick. Turned out we had picked up typhoid before we left Bali. Blood tests in 2 hours, treatment plan and 24 hour intravenous antibiotics in our room with Drs visiting every few hours and on call. Follow up with medication, very thorough. They worked with our travel insurance firm from Australia and in our case we had to pay only the excess. Thank you so much guys, very worrying time and you were awesome. James and Cass

After several days of not feeling well, I went to Pandawa Medical Sunset and felt very well looked after right from the start. Following a blood test and laboratory results, which were available within a few hours, it was clear what I had. The treatment worked really well and I felt very well looked after by Dr Farouq and his team. I was shown all the medicines and equipment used in advance, along with their expiry dates, and during the infusion I was regularly checked on and asked how I was feeling. I was given a detailed medical report for my insurance. Many thanks to Dr Farouq and his team – you do a fantastic job!

We had a medical emergency during the night. A doctor came to the hotel and provided treatment as best as possible. However, we did not feel we were in truly competent hands. A standard “Bali Belly” treatment was applied, even though the issue was related to a heart condition. For an island doctor, it was acceptable, but not reassuring. This impression was reinforced by the invoice and diagnosis. In addition to a wrongly listed medication, the bill included examinations that were never actually performed (such as pupils, throat, etc.). The medications sold to us were also about 100 times more expensive than at a nearby pharmacy. We returned them and received a refund. On the positive side, someone arrived within 15 minutes, which was very quick. On the negative side, there seemed to be a strong focus on selling overpriced medication, and the communication in English was limited.
