  I stayed at the Mercure Hotel Jayapura for a 6-day business trip. Since I had an early morning flight, I had to request an early check-in upon arriving in Jayapura, and the staff was incredibly cooperative, allowing me to check in at 10 AM. The staff was attentive, helpful, and the GM on duty at the time (Mr. June) was very friendly. The room was comfortable, and amenities like the mini-refrigerator, safe, AC, and running water all worked perfectly. As for the restaurant, it was very clean and served delicious food. Highly recommended for both business trips and family vacations!

  I had a wonderful stay here. First of all, the manager was kind enough to let me use storage facilities, internet access, and workspace even without booking a room. Then, when I did need a room, I was very pleased to stay here. The rooms are comfy and quiet. The staff is the kindest you'll ever meet. Breakfast is excellent, it has plenty of vegetarian and even some vegan option. Some of the cuisine comes specifically from various regions of Indonesia. At the bar there's live music in the evening. |The only thing that could be improved is not to have windows that can be opened - or windows at all. |The quality was excellent.and the price was very affordable.

  I had a wonderful stay at Mercure. First of all, the manager was very kind in offering to store my luggage, use internet facilities, and work in the lobby, even if I didn't initially need a room. When it then turned out that I did need the room, I was most pleased to choose Mercure. The buffet breakfast is excellent, offering vegetarian and vegan options in addition to covering different regions of Indonesia. The room is comfortable and the bar at the third floor offers live music. You will hardly ever find kinder staff. Conveniently located close to the port. The only thing that I found could be improved is to have access to windows that can be opened.
