  Rating: Minus 100 out of 5. I had a deeply disappointing experience at Rumah Sakit Medika Amplas, Medan, when my sister was admitted there. We chose this hospital because it was the closest to our home, but in hindsight, that was a mistake. First of all, the hospital completely fails to uphold the vision and mission they proudly display on their walls. My sister was admitted under BPJS in a 2nd class room, and when I requested an upgrade to 1st class, they told me it was unavailable—despite their own system showing available beds. The shared room was a nightmare: other patients' families were loud, had visitors (including babies) staying past midnight (daily!), and there was constant noise and screaming. How is a patient supposed to recover in that environment? Cleanliness was an absolute disgrace. The bathroom was filthy and smelled terrible, with no cleaning staff showing up until midday.   My 2 years old daughter once sick and got treated here. She was in the first class room. They got a nice and huge room because the building was a hotel. Their services was great. They accept BPJS insurance, and several another insurance. Patient family get 1 free parking (bike or car, choose one. And only for that vehicle). Normally parking fee is IDR 3K.
