  I cannot recommend this medical service highly enough. I became unwell while staying in Bali, and the doctors came directly to my hotel incredibly quickly. They were professional, kind, and reassuring from the moment they arrived. They carried out a thorough assessment, performed a blood test on-site, administered an IV drip for dehydration, and provided all of the medications I needed. They explained everything clearly in excellent English, answered all of my questions patiently, and made me feel completely at ease during a very stressful situation. I was also extremely impressed by how organized everything was. I received detailed receipts and clear medical documentation, which will make my travel insurance claim straightforward.

  We visited this clinic in Ubud during our trip to Bali due to a severe gastrointestinal infection with continuous vomiting and dehydration. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The biggest concern form the clinic was the apparent focus on insurance approval before providing meaningful initial medical care. Despite the patient's condition, there was no action taken until authorization from the travel insurance company was received. Not even a glass of water. We also found the level of patient monitoring to be poor. On several occasions we had to actively seek out staff members to request assistance, follow-up checks, or treatment that should already have been scheduled. Most of the time the staff went to sleep to another room without any time of monitoring. This was particularly frustrating given that we spent the entire night at the clinic.   My wife was ill and we called Toya for an in home visit here in Ubud Bali. They came over within an hour and provided outstanding medical services. They were thorough, friendly, efficient, and extremely competent. Their English language skills are excellent. While getting sick is no fun, it's comforting to know you can receive fantastic medical attention here in Ubud from Toka Medika.
