    HOSPITAL. Dr YAP is the most comprehensive and largest eye hospital in Jogja. The hospital offers a wide range of eye examinations and treatments. This hospital serves BPJS Health programme participants. The hospital has many competent specialists with considerable experience for eye specialists. There is a mosque and toilets. This hospital also provides LASIK eye treatment. Car and motorbike parking is not very large. The queue of visitors for treatment is always crowded.

    The hospital is clean with spacious green area but they badly need to overhaul their SOP to ensure patients' safety and comfort. This is the only hospital I have visited where they drag the patients all over the place instead of visiting the patients' room for daily checkup and monitoring, education and treatment. Considering we were a paying patient (non BPJS) and an elderly, these experiences were troublesome, tiring and very much disappointing. Likewise, the staffs are nice but they need to improve their communication skills to stop giving confusing messages regarding treatment. They are nice but not really helpful since they keep asking family members to step out to their office for the so called ''education' time. They also need better transparency regarding their service and room fees. All in all, I am not sure if I want to recommend this hospital to others.

    I went to the Dr. Yap Eye Hospital today. It was nice and clean place with good services. Because of Covid19, there some protocols need to do first before you go to the registration room. Body temperature test and a little interview about Covid19, but it was very friendly. I suggest you come in the morning before midday, because it was not too busy when i was there. All workers there are friendly (all workers i met i mean) hehe Very recommend to come here for your eye problems...
