  I visited this beach in the afternoon during during the week. I can imagine, it gets crowded during the weekend, but that afternoon on a weekday, it was totally fine and relaxing. There were only a few people there. People come to this beach to eat rujak (fruit salad with peanut sauce). I was surprised that the beach was quite clean. It was high tide, so I didn't see much of the sand but the waves looked totally manageable for swimming, also for kids. You can take the angkot from Ambon City to this place, very straightforward. It's a popular place for locals.

  Second best beach in Ambon (Liang unsurpassable). Sand is hard like concrete and with high tide the beach is totally gone (see picture) so plan your visit according to tide times. Visited twice after parking the scooter outside the gate along the road and never paid an entrance fee. Crowded on weekends, not much in weekdays. Packaged food available.

  I visited Natsepa Beach during days of continuous rain in Ambon, which made the scenery less beautiful than usual. However, it was still an enjoyable experience as I got to see locals joyfully celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day with various games along the beach.

  Natsepa Beach is well-known in Ambon but feels a bit overrated. The beach isn’t very clean and is crowded with food stalls. The highlight here is the famous rujak Natsepa, a fruit salad with peanut sauce, palm sugar, and nutmeg paste for a distinctive flavor. Worth a visit, but more for the rujak than the beach itself. While the sea and sand are inviting, other beaches in the eastern part of Ambon Island are more attractive. Depending on the day, a clear sky is a must to enjoy Natsepa.
