  bed bugs, very very old buildings, electrical outlets are shocking, they are half falling out of wall and don’t work, bathroom was poorly maintained, same as the interior paint and walls. exterior was beautiful, but the bed bugs meant we had to pack up and leave almost straight away. also the water from shower, sink and toilet was very smelly

  It's a nice place to stay, a little quirky and a little tired, the pool, i was unsure how maintained it was as I didn't see the pump running or anyone attending to it. The stalf are friendly and helpful, the room was made up each day, no complaints there, the outdoor bathroom adds an interesting touch, the location is great, lovely spot to watch the ocean users world go by.

  This was my 5th time staying at the d’Tunjung Hotel. |We were allocated room #808, my favourite of the Deluxe Seaview category rooms. The standard rooms have garden views. |The location of this hotel down a small laneway off the main road and adjacent to the Candidasa Lagoon is very good. I love being so close to sea and hearing the waves roll in at night. Please note that the water comes right up to the sea wall, so there is no beach area as such. |This hotel has spacious grounds and many palm trees, with the villas being built very much along Balinese architectural design. Our room had a small patio with 2 loungers & small table on it, so we were able to enjoy the sea views directly in front of us.|The room had a double bed with mosquito nets, a mini fridge, air-conditioning, a safe (NOT bolted down though!), an indoor/outdoor bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities.|The infinity pool is another good spot to enjoy the sweeping view of the straits and bay.|Breakfast was included in

  Staff were friendly and location was nice but facilities are very old with dangerous electrical wiring in the rooms and threadbare sheets. On this occasion we found evidence of bed bugs and no staff were able to assist after hours. So we left. In fairness, we received a full refund the next day and sincere apology. Some basic upgrades and not would be become a great place for a weekend getaway.
