    Place smelled like fried food and massage beds werent comfortable + the towel they put around the massage bed hole was a bit smelly. Nothing was prepped and everything felt pretty chaotic. Had the accupressure 1 hour which wasnt good at all. Therapist lacked any sort of system, technique and put way too much pressure in areas that require caution. Shameful because I had a couple of massages with rainbow spa at the old location which was always a solid experience. Hopefully they can manage a u-turn here

    It is a good option, if what you are looking is a local style massage. Most of the fanzy places I visited were more focused on western style massage , aromatherapy, or relaxing massage . Local massage is based on pressure and you can guide your massageur depending on the part of the body, which pressure you are ok with. It is true that the place is quite damaged.... maybe some painting in the walls will be ok,but it means investement. And for a local to invest, first needs to earn money. Girls really know the technique. They may focus in those places where they feel you have muscles more tense. Definitely recommended place IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH LOCAL MASSAGE!!!! I read several reviews where I can clearly see that people was looking for somerhing different ( western sryle massage ?) and not getting it ,they just critizise the way a Lombok massage should be done.

    I’ve returned to Rainbow massage several times for the past 5 years and have always really enjoyed it. The place doesn’t look like a fancy spa and the material isn’t new, but you’re in for a very professional massage, in a quiet room with relaxing music. The therapist are very sensitive to your needs and will check in on you to make sure the pressure suits your needs. Prices are more than reasonable.

    Update went back again on my 2nd visit to kuta. My massuse "Men" did an amazing job. She knew how to apply pressure in a helpful and healing way. This is not a glamorous calming spa but a great place to go if you want healing therapy or sports style massages. They do the best with what they have and hopefully facilities will grow as they do. The skill is definitely there. ... Saw some mixed reviews but reading through decided to give them a shot because it seemed like what I was looking for. I did the 7 point massage for some shoulder pain and a deep pressure point massage was the right choice, my massuse was very skilled and when my massage finished the stress point was relieved. The massage area is simple but the beds are big and sturdy. I am not sure how their relaxing massage is but if you want relaxing do not choose the 7 pt massage. The lady explaining the service was very nice and understood my issue and explained it the the masseuse. I'll be back for sure. Thanks!
