  We appreciated the opportunity to stay at MesaStila for a few days, and found the team to be especially lovely and hospitable, genuinely invested in ensuring we had a pleasant stay. The grounds are very well kept and the pool was lovely to lounge in, with the lush jungle around you. We found the food to be very good and reliable and sufficiently varied for short stays. Our room had lots of character and historic charm, and was generally comfortable, though we felt the a/c unit was in need of replacement. We have stayed at several historical properties in SE Asia and appreciate that the natural elements (heat, humidity, rain, insects and wildlife) are a lot to manage, especially for properties like MesaStila. That said, I would agree with other reviewers that some areas of the property and villas, in particular, need a little TLC.   We had a truly wonderful stay at MesaStila Resort and Spa. The atmosphere was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, fresh mountain air, and stunning views that made the whole experience feel relaxing and memorable. The hospitality from the staff was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was also excellent. Every meal was delicious, well-presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. We especially loved the traditional Indonesian dishes and the relaxing dining ambiance overlooking the green scenery. One of the highlights of our stay was the photo session with LoftMoments. The experience was amazing, and special thanks to photographer Mbak Arih, who was incredibly professional, friendly, and creative. She made us feel comfortable during the session and captured so many beautiful natural moments perfectly. The photos turned out stunning and became wonderful memories from our stay.   An unforgettable stay at MesaStila Resort & Spa! Nestled in the middle of a beautiful coffee plantation, the resort offers a perfect blend of tranquility, luxury, and authentic Javanese heritage. The villas are spacious, unique, and beautifully maintained, while every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality. The food, spa, and resort activities were all excellent, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. The surrounding mountain views and peaceful atmosphere are simply breathtaking. A special highlight goes to the photo session with Loft Moments—absolutely amazing! The team was super keren, professional, friendly, and incredibly creative. They made us feel comfortable throughout the shoot and knew all the best spots around the resort. The final photos captured the beauty of MesaStila and our special moments perfectly.   Mesa Stila is an atmospheric gem with real soul and history! ❤️We stayed here for several days and were absolutely delighted. The hotel sits in a stunning location with a large, beautifully maintained grounds filled with lovely gardens, charming corners, and breathtaking views. You can truly feel the history and special vibe of the place — it’s somewhere you want to soak in every moment.The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Everything is thoughtfully done. A special mention goes to the staff — they are some of the friendliest, most attentive, and professional people we’ve encountered during our travels.
