  I came here for a 90min body massage with my friend recently. The facilities were basic but the staff were enthusiastic. Shortly after the massage begin, someone cranked up the volume of the traditional Indonesian instrumental music that was playing, probably in a futile effort to drown out a TV in the background. This made the whole place noisy and anathematic to relaxation. My masseuse had an ok technique which she puts on repeat mode to the left and right parts of my body unevenly. She also tends to miss small details, like when the oil bottle was scratching my skin irritably in one area while she’s working on my other muscles in another. More critically, she completely forgot to massage my thighs, the one body part that climbing Rinjani punishes the most, during the whole 90 min session!

  I think I got a masseuse that is still in her early days, it was okeish. Going forward I think the staff needs to realize it’s a massage place so it should be a quiet one, it didn’t bother me too much but other customers will point it out as well.
