If any hotel with less than 40 rooms is a boutique hotel, then this is a boutique hotel. However, don't expect villas, it is just rows of rooms. The rooms are OK but nothing special. The hotel is situated literally right next to a very busy road with a continuous stream of fast driving lorries and buses and the bar/restaurant area is open to that road so very very noisy. The breakfast is called 'a la carte', but that is just a way to reduce food costs. Perfect staycation experience. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. They have a pleasant and clean swimming pool to relax. And the laundry service was fast and efficient. I would add that the location is perfect as there is a lot of nice hills for evening hikes to watch the sunsets

There is no hairdryer nor fridge in the rooms, and the bathroom door is made of clear glass. Toilet and shower are around the corner; nonetheless this is awkward if you do not have a super close relationship to your room mate. There also is a (not clear) glass window in the bathroom, meaning that the room does not become dark. If you are sensitive you definitely need a mask. Massage here is nice, but they treat up to three people in the same parlor without any separation. This of course is very awkward. I recommend the Putri Bali massage place instead. Only a few minutes to the beach or hiking routes mean that you can easily explore the ar
