  The location of this Place was absolutely central, which was perfect for exploring the area. The rooms were very clean, as well as the outdoor garden and communal spaces—it was all well-maintained and beautiful. One thing I really appreciated was that our room had both an air conditioner and a fan, so we could choose which one to use (or both). However, there were some issues. In our room, the sink was leaking, and at some point, the water just started running out of it completely. That was a bit inconvenient. The biggest disappointment for me was the kitchen. One of the main reasons we booked this hostel was because it advertised having a kitchen, but in reality, it was very poorly equipped. There was only one pan and one pot, making it difficult to cook anything. There were also no basic essentials like salt, oil, or spices. I’m not the best cook, but I’m also not the worst, and still, everything stuck to the aluminum pan so badly that even making eggs was impossible. So if you’re

  I spent 6 nights at van santri and it was great. Room is clean, own bathroom, small private veranda to sit outside looking at very nice green garden. Staff very friendly, banana pancake included for breakfast. Only cold shower, but pemuteran is so hot it doesn't matter at all. Ca. 10min walk to beach, but that is good because the hotel is set back from the busy road and thus quiet. They organise snorkeling and other tours at reasonable prices, i asked around and they were the same or cheaper as other places. The driver they organised back to Denpasar was extremely friendly. All up very good value!

  Really nice quiet place, affordable prices, amazing family that owns it! Bed are comfortable, ac works well, clean rooms :) Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and cafe!

  Very friendly local family is running this nice homestay. If you are looking for luxury rooms and swimming pool, this is not for you. This is for tourists who want contact with local people and who prefer authenticity over unified comfort. Rooms are simple, but very clean and well maintained. You can use kitchen and relax in beautifull garden. Family helps you with all activities around Pemuteran.
