  The most scenic location for a massage! Thoroughly enjoyed my 90 minute massage at Makna. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and the prices were very reasonable. They were accommodating even without a booking which I appreciated.

  We've had a lot of massages in Bali and I feel like I need to post honestly. Although it was a good massage, I was uncomfortable the whole time. I've had deep tissue massages before, bit this one felt like the masseuse was trying to hurt me. Rather than a smooth pressure, her fingers dug into me. It felt like she was scratching, rather than massaging, my scalp. The whole experience felt awful and I couldn't wait for it to be finished. Despite requesting a strong Balinese massage repeatedly, including in writing, they tried to charge us for a deep tissue massage, which was much more expensive. Overall an awful experience and I couldn't wait to get away. Check out my positive review for Simpen Spa. Also great view, fantastic service and good prices. Shame we didn't go there first.

  Holy moly is all I can say!!! Absolutely amazing, epic even! Beautiful people, amazing hospitality and service. Absolutely epic massages with a view that is to die for! If I could give this more stars I would, 5 stars doesn’t seem to be enough! If you’re in sideman, do not go past this spa!
