  I had a wonderful stay at Rylich Panorama Hotel for 9 nights and 10 days during a work assignment. Honestly, I enjoyed staying at the hotel so much that I only started exploring Sorong during my last three days! The hotel has everything you need: a swimming pool, sauna, and a well-equipped gym with complete facilities. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The food deserves special praise. There were plenty of delicious choices every day, and the restaurant was very accommodating. We even requested Papeda, and they happily prepared it for us. Every Sunday, they served wonderful Indonesian traditional dishes, and I especially loved the Papeda with yellow fish soup—it was absolutely delicious. Saturday night’s All You Can Eat BBQ was another highlight, featuring fresh seafood such as grilled fish, grilled prawns, crab, and shellfish. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing.   Nearby to some restaurants is about the best thing going for this hotel. Roof top pool area has no shade during the day. The all you can eat bbq they do is really good meal when it is on

  Worst hotel and bad management||This is my worst experience, while having travelled worldwide for 30 years !||As my flight arrived early morning in Sorong (5h30), I checked with the hotel if an early check in would be possible. |They told me that wasn't guaranteed and that I should book an additional night, which I did. |Upon arrival, they gave me the worst room, old and dirty, with a noise of running water in the wall, that was a 'Superior' and not a the 'Premiere' that I booked which is more expansive, without explanation. |When I requested to change they told me that I had to wait until another customer leave, which means they sold and get paid twice for this room. |At the end I paid a full night and only had the room at 12h30, which means I could use 1h30 of my booking and had to change room 6h after my arrival, which was not the point of paying for an extra day. |Following that, I've contacted the hotel several times and never received any answers. |The same apply to Agoda and the

  A very nice pool and great breakfast buffet. The wifi was terrible 1-2 MB/s download/upload and we had three cockroaches in our room. The room also had a very musty smell. The gym was not air-conditioned during our time there and it was 32°C 😅 The hotel atms do not work for foreign debit cards.
