  we visited toyabali again and every time it feels like you come home, they welcome you and provide all the service you could wish.|great view over the ocean when you are in the swimming pool or in the restaurant.|small (7 villa's) but very cosy and private close to the liberty wreck. Great spot to stay while you plan to dive a few days in tulamben or Amed.

  Toyabali offers you very conflicting messages - and I loved it. To get to the hotel you first think you are walking into a very desert place. You need to walk, for real, to get to the hotel. Its in front of the ocean, amazing view, super calm, spacious and the silence is amazing. We were there for 3 or 4 nights. The room is huge, it has seen better years, but it is still clean, working, with everything you need. The bathroom is huge, very different, awkward at first, but amazing after night 2. Meals must be done at the property. There are very few, if any, options in town. But the food is comfort food. Its well seasoned, not spicy, done daily, prepared with kindness. Tastes great and prices seamed fair for us. French fries are always crunch and dry. Vegetables are always cooked to perfection. There are not that many options on the menu, but they deliver exactly what you have ordered. Took the days to relax, read, dive and just enjoy the view, the sun and the silence.

  Everything was great! Location next to beach, service, staff, great food. Great massage, swimming pool, lovely garden. Nice Ocean view at the restaurant.
