  My husband and I, originally from the USA, are a military couple who relocated to Bali two and a half years ago. We’ve visited numerous spas across the island, but Tamarind Spa stands out as the absolute best. If you’re seeking an authentic Balinese experience, complete with its rich culture, warm hospitality, and serene atmosphere, Tamarind Spa is the place to be. My husband and I make it a monthly tradition to spend three days at Tamarind Spa, accompanied by stays at Murni’s houses, which are conveniently located on the same property. Throughout our visits, we’ve been consistently impressed by the impeccable cleanliness, professionalism, and the genuine Balinese experience that Tamarind Spa offers. It’s worth noting that anyone who has had negative experiences at Tamarind Spa might be better off not visiting Bali at all. Tamarind Spa embodies the very essence of Bali’s tranquility and peacefulness. Highly recommend.

  Its a shame i have to give this place a bad review, the atmosphere is nice, welcome is also nice! Massage was the worst i got so far in Ubud, it was absolutely unpleasant, it doesn’t worth the price. Also in the shower they only provide chemical showegel, shampoo extc… when we stepped into the room of the massage i immediately smelled mold!!! I can tell because im allergic to mold. The flower bath they made for me was cold too. The tea they gave was tasty, but overall paying so much for this place is not worth it. I dont reccomend it!

  We wanted a couples massage. Found Tamarind Spa on Google and decided to give them a go We are certainly pleased that we did. It was easy to find with strategically placed signs. The reception is just lovely with a beautiful atmosphere. We were made to feel welcome immediately. We were shown a choice of different massage styles, oils etc. We both chose the Hawaiian Massage. The girls who did the massage were excellent. They knew what they were doing and did it with professionalism but classic Balinese politeness. Afterwards we were served a dish of fruit and ginger tea... delicious Overall, a thoroughly pleasant experience, I strongly recommend Tamarind Spa

  I had an incredible experience here from start to finish. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable the moment I walked through the door. As for the treatment itself, the massage was amazing—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality service and a perfect escape!
