    Disclaimer: this was my 5th massage in my life—therefore I do not have a big reference palette. Oh boy, this was good. This was the first time I had a deep tissue massage—and it was incredible. My masseur was Alfred, and he destroyed me in the best possible way imaginable. For me personally it was very therapeutic and it lived up to its name. You could see my ataraxia as I almost fell asleep while drinking the after-massage tea. The service is also rather cheap, so the performance/price ratio is amazing. Side notes. This massage is not for everyone—it is very strong. Alfred used elbows and very strong pressure; sometimes it hurt, but in a very good way. In that way you really feel that something special is going on during the massage. That said, if you like softer massages, the deep tissue massage is definitely not for you, but you can choose the one that suits you best, from their wide range of options.     Nestled in Central Ubud, Terakota is a cozy spa with kind specialists. The prices are reasonable, the facilities are clean, and the service is great. I had the hot stone massage and facial. Both were of good quality and the music and fragrance were just right. The rosella tea and water at the end were a nice compliment. I recommend to those staying in Ubud and looking for a pleasant spa experience. I would come again.

    Great and affordable massage spot near Ubud Centre. We did a foot massage, and it even came with a complimentary 5-minute shoulder massage, which was such a nice touch. The masseurs were skilled, the space was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for a good and budget-friendly massage experience in Ubud.
