  Haris is the absolute best!! Could not have asked for a better instructor as a total beginner. He made me feel completely at ease, was excellent at explaining and demonstrating the techniques, and helped me to catch the right waves when the time came. By the second hour of my first lesson I was able to stand up! I had such a fun experience and would recommend to anyone looking for surf lessons in Canggu.

  Overall the coach was incredibly friendly, supportive and helpful. He helped me catch so many waves while made sure I was save around the crowd. I was worried about hit by others board or any fin chops at the beginning. But with his help, I finished the session safely and able to stand up even with not so good wave condition in that day. They’ve asked me to give 5 star comments here which I did, but later found out there are way more surf schools give cheaper price and run the session for 2 hours with complimentary photos instead. The wave is long and sturdy on this beach, bit too fast for beginners on my day but I’m sure you’ll have a great experience if you do little extra research unlike me. Plus there are photographers on the beach if you are interested

  First time surfing for me and my partner, managed to stand up and catch a few really good waves with the help of the instructors they helped us navigate the waves and made sure we didn’t drown. Overall an amazing experience. Can’t wait for our second lesson

  took my first surfing lesson with Haris, and it was an amazing experience! As a complete beginner, I felt nervous, but Haris was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He made learning fun and easy, breaking everything down step by step. By the end of the lesson, I was able to catch a few waves! I highly recommend Haris to anyone looking to learn how to surf—he’s an excellent instructor!
