  The best surf lessons I have had in Bali. Sam is brilliant, he finds the best areas and always made me feel super safe. I’ve always had the most fun on surf days with Sam! And if you ask him about other spots on the island he is super knowledgeable and always willing to take you on an adventure. I would definitely recommend :)

  8 years ago I met Sam down at Batu Balong and since then I have sent every person I know who wants to lean how to surf to him. He is without a doubt the best surf instructor. My partner was a beginner, he taught him where sit, how to read the waves, gave him feedback on every wave and within a couple of sessions had him paddling onto the waves himself and riding confidently across. His English is 10/10, is passionate and funny which just makes the whole experience way more enjoyable!
