  ​"I was initially very excited about the prospect of staying here. However, I ultimately decided to cancel my plans after receiving some firsthand feedback from a family member who recently stayed at the property during their vacation at Lakey Beach. ​According to them, the reality of the property simply does not align with its online profile. It definitely feels more like a 2-star establishment rather than the 4-star experience advertised. They noted a complete lack of basic amenities: no Wi-Fi, no attentive staff on-site, and the room conditions were highly disappointing. There was no electric kettle, the TV was outdated (connected to a DVD player), the hot shower was non-functional, and the toilet was severely stained. Furthermore, the pool water and its floor liner looked heavily neglected. ​Given the premium price point, there are absolutely no standout features to justify the cost.   Stayed at Lakey Peak Haven in New Year for 4-5 days, we were invited to stay by Michael who owns it and was there with his family. The hospitality was amazing we were made to feel like part of the family whilst also treated as 'special guests'! All food was home made from scratch and was honestly as good as anything we'd been served up in the high end restaurants of Seminyak! Very chilled environment the accommodation is very comfortable with lot's of nice touches like a DVD player and wide screen TV in your room so you can just crash after you've had a 5 hour surf session on Lake Peak!!! Me and my mate are not advanced surfers so this time of year was perfect - nice 2-4 ft waves and no-one around apart from a few locals and the odd Aussie ex-pat who had made Lakey home!! Overall an amazing experience so thanks to Michael , Made and all of their family who made it a trip to remember!!!

  I recently stayed at Lakey Peak Haven in Sumbawa, and it was an awesome trip! From the moment I arrived, I felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality and laid-back vibe of this incredible place. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and designed with surfers in mind. The rooms are spacious, with great A/C, and the outdoor areas offer views over the waves. Waking up and checking the surf from the balcony was unreal. Lakey Peak itself is a world-class wave, and the location of the Haven couldn’t be better. The owners were super helpful with surf advice, transport, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Plus, the food was top-notch—healthy, delicious, and exactly what you need after long sessions in the water. If you are chasing perfect waves and looking to unwind in paradise, Lakey Peak Haven is the spot. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Michael and Made for taking such good care of us.

  Lakey Peak Haven is an absolute no brainer for your next trip to Lakey peak. Michael, Made, Risky and the kids looked after us like we were family. The location is unreal, nice and quiet a short scooter or car ride from the beach with great views of Lakey peak, pipe and Nungas. Accomodation was cosy and air-conditioned. The food was top notch, a delicious mix of Indonesian and western dishes in MASSIVE portion sizes perfect after a day of surfing. Loved the whole experience, will be back for sure!!
