  This is a great place to stay at Sorake beach- It overlooks the keyhole, from where you paddle out to one of the best right-handers of the world. The accommodation has western style flushing toilets and a generator to support you with power even when the power-grid breaks down. This happens on a daily basis! Every room has two fans to help cooling you down in the tropical heat. You could either only take a room and eat in the many restaurants nearby ( this option I would recommend) or you could book a package with all food provided. Timmy the owner is well connected and can organize drivers for airport/harbor transfers or to get to other surf spots and sightseeing trips. He also can help you with flight tickets or with booking boat-trips. The place itself is a little come down and could use a bit of work.   Staff is not honest. They cheated me from the airport to Lagundari but I paid all costs and their food, beer and cigarettes. I don't know how they treat me like this. Because I am an Asian? I never recommend this accommodation, staff and owner. I thought they gonna kill me if I refuse to pay. I have been many different places in Indo and it was absolutely worst experience by them. I can't believe they still run business in this area. Hi Timmy. Thanks for your reply. You said respect. What do you mean? You have to respect people who travel in Nias Island . I write down this review because what you done to me in 2016. I don't have any benefits from writing this review. I just write down what happened to me when I arrived in Gunsutorri airport. Please respect people who arrived in the airport first time. Do not try to ripped off money or cheating. You can deserve it from what you done. Are you still hiring Caser? Good on ya mate.

  We booked it over thw phone just before arriving. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The room was small, had working A/C and a spacious bathroom. All that you needed was there. The sheets were all torn, so that would be a minus for me and the matrices very soft with springs. Over all a good night stay on the island with almost no hotels (not a surfer :))

  Timmy and the keyhole family helped make my stay in Nias exceptionally awesome! I'm far from a good surfer so it was great to get his son Andy to teach me some skills (push me on the waves) |For a female travelling to Nias by land solo it was great to be welcomed with open arms by the entire family. |Basic rooms and facilities but as good as your going to get on Nias. Most important thing is Timmy's knowledge of everything you need to get the best waves. He is the only one to own charter boat for up to 12 people. So basically he is your Man!
