  We had a few lessons with 360 Surf Academy during our time in Lombok. Overall, the experience was okay- but fairly average at best, and we decided not to continue with them. We had fun and often the vibes were good. However, at times the sessions felt overcrowded and not very personalised, which made it harder to get meaningful feedback or progress consistently. That said, we did have one really good instructor, and our best session by far was a 1:1 lesson with him by chance. Unfortunately, the quality of instructors seemed quite inconsistent. Some were solid, but others were pretty underwhelming- offering little to no feedback or guidance beyond pushing us into waves. Quite often it felt like instructors were more focused on catching waves themselves or chatting with girls in the lineup rather than actually coaching. As a result I wouldn’t recommend them for lessons. In the end, we chose to find a private instructor instead, which turned out to be a much better experience for us.

  Surf Camp is a unique experience, focused on daily surfing excursions with experienced and fun surf coaches who make sure you catch plenty of waves at local Kuta beaches. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious, and though mosquitoes might seem a threat, they are actually well controlled. Staff communications are excellent, and they work to build a community vibe among the guests. Three problems: 1. this is too far from Kuta to walk, but the hotel provides scooters at very reasonable rates. 2. The call to prayer is guaranteed to wake lots that sleepers way before dawn. 3. A limited breakfast menu.

  360 Surf Academy & Lodge is a fantastic place if you’re looking for peace and relaxation in Kuta Lombok. Being away from the busy town center makes a huge difference — it’s quiet, calm, and perfect for resting properly. At the same time, you’re only a 5-minute scooter ride from Kuta downtown, restaurants, beaches, and shops. The common areas are beautiful and very comfortable, ideal for spending time reading, stretching, or just enjoying the relaxed vibe of the place. The staff truly stands out. Pina, Susi, and Gana…are incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. You really feel the personal touch here. A wonderful place to disconnect and enjoy Lombok at a slower pace. Highly recommended.

  The place is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Staff is really friendly, helps you with anything and creates a homey atmosphere. We booked the quick escape package, went out surfing in amazing spots and had one instructor just for the two of us: Wady (I hope the spelling is right). He was super great, we had so mich fun, it’s safer to go with them as they know the spots, give you advice and help you improve your skills. We also had a massage, a family dinner, a movie night, theory lesson and the 360 t-shirt included in the package. It’s the perfect place to slow down, fell comfy but experience local lifestyle and go out surfing.
