We took three days of surf lessons with Norman. I had last surfed two years ago in France. Norman took the time to go over all the basics on land before we headed out into the water. He takes the time to explain things clearly and correct our form. He’s a great teacher and very friendly. He puts us at ease and helps us improve. We really enjoyed spending time with him. Go for it without hesitation!

I booked two private lessons with Nurman and the progress I made in such a short time was honestly unbelievable! His expertise really shines through. The feedback he gives is precise, actionable, and makes an immediate difference. What stood out most was how perfectly he tailored the sessions to my level and made the whole experience feel very personal. Safety was clearly a top priority, especially at the busy beginner spots where things can get chaotic fast. I always felt in very good hands. Beyond the technique itself, Nurman takes the time to explain surf etiquette and how to properly read waves. And on top of all that - he's just genuinely great company. Warm, funny, and passionate about what he does. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to level up their surfing!

Norman is an absolute legend. He has the most calm, but motivating approach to his instructing. If you’re a bit scared of waves, like me, he stays by your side, keeps you calm to help you builds your confidence. Always making sure you’re feeling comfortable yet pushing you to progress. I have developed a lot just with 2 days surfing with Norman. He’s also fun and easy to be around. 100% will be only surfing with Norman in Lombok.

I had an amazing experience with Nurman! He is a fantastic surf instructor who immediately understood our level. He knows exactly how to handle the waves and ensures you have the best possible sessions. Nurman is great at identifying individual mistakes and offering the right solutions to improve. On top of being a pro, he’s a really nice and fun guy to be around. Highly recommended!
