I had such a lovely stay at CARI Surf Camp in Bali. I did the Guiding Surf Pack, which was a great option as an intermediate surfer wanting to explore different waves around Uluwatu. The facilities were amazing, and the yoga was especially incredible – the teacher was brilliant and it was one of the highlights of my stay. The hospitality and reception staff were all so kind, helpful and welcoming. Salsa was particularly kind and helpful - she is amazing! The food was also amazing, and the breakfast included in the package was genuinely so good. It’s worth noting that the guiding package is fairly hands-off, so it’s best suited to surfers who are comfortable being a bit independent in the water. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend it.

I stayed in Cari Surf Camp for 6 days and I really enjoyed it. Everything was amazing, starting from the cleanliness in the room (shared a dorm type room), friendly staff, food and surfing lessons. Huge thanks to Aldo and great appreciations to Bukit for the empathy and work he is putting into teaching beginners. Also, big thanks to staff for live music in the evenings. Would definitely come back!! Only suggestion - if you are complete beginner, ask to have the pool session on the first day when you arrive. It will help you a lot going forward.

I had an amazing experience at Cari Surf Camp. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere with the guests is outstanding. The rooms were mold-free, spacious, well decorated, and super clean. For the price I paid, I honestly don’t think you’ll find anything comparable around Uluwatu. The staff were incredibly kind and the surf instructors were fun and experienced. Another big plus was the peace and quiet, as the property is not located on the main road.

I’ve been to 4 different surf camps now and in terms of catching waves and improving as a surfer this is easily the best one if been to. The instructors were great, really professional, focused on the students, communicated well and had expert knowledge on conditions in each spot we went to (especially Tia and delon who I surfed with most days!). They pushed me to try harder waves and keep improving without it ever feeling unsafe. The vibes in the camp were really open and friendly and I found it easy to meet people being there solo. The room was big and comfortable and breakfast was tasty too. My only comments to make the camp EVEN better (from what I’ve seen in other camps) would be: - start breakfast earlier so people can eat before early surf starts, even if it’s a limited menu - If fewer people show up for a lesson than expected don’t cancel an instructor. The instructors are already paid for as part of the package regardless of whether the student shows up. This felt a bit sti
