    We rented a Toyota Innova Reborn (self driving / lepas kunci) for 3 days, initially requesting for Avanza. But since the latter was suddenly unavailable, the owner allowed for a compromise with a lower rate on the Innova. The rate is calculated per calendar day, not per 24 hours. Positives: - Outstanding customer service; the owner, Pak Budi, was soft-spoken and answered to our questions promptly and politely. We notified that we were returning the car earlier than expected and he arrived shortly after. - Overall good car condition, with clean interior and no unpleasant smell Improvement: - The front lights of the car were rather dim, even for the high beam setting. It can be a bif difficult if you're not used to Batam's dimly lit roads.
