  Agus should be your first option for a tour around Flores. He is native to the island and has been driving the roads for over 20 years, making him very reliable even in bad weather conditions. He is very knowledgeable about Flores, speaks many native languages and seems to know everyone (which is a bonus). He goes out of his way to show you things other tourists would never see. We even spent an afternoon watching local boxing and eating local food during a village new years celebration and were the first foreigners they have ever invited to attend. Thanks for an amazing 3 days Agus!

  Agus was our driver on a 2 day trip from Labuan Bajo to central Flores and back, and we had the best time with him! He was really helpful in making a plan of which spots we could realistically visit in those 2 days, using all the experience he has accumulated over his many years of experience. He formed a nice connection for us to the local people along the way, many of whom he seemed to know! Agus was m really funny, which made us laugh a lot of the time as well :)) He also came up with fun spots for us to add to the trip, which is how we ended up on the local market in Ruteng as the only tourists ;) Would definitely recommend to get Agus as your guide, he is awesome!

  We made a 4-day trip from Bajo to Bajawa and back in June 2026 and Agus was or guide and driver. In both capacities he was super. He knows a lot about the island and speaks with everyone (bekannt wie ein bunter Hund😊). Ask him for all the spices and fruits and plants on the island and he will show them to you. Strong recommendation.
