  Wayan was my driver for several days on Nusa Penida and my trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. He picked me and my friends up from the harbor and immediately made everything so easy and convenient. Wayan was not only a driver but a tour guide often giving history and background on sites we visited, a full fledged photographer taking literally hundreds of pics for me in the stunning locations, and the most skilled driver expertly navigating really dicey roads even in the dark. He was so nice, calm and friendly that it felt like traveling around with a friend. Hiring Wayan for my driver was the best decision I made in Nusa Penida and I recommend 11/10

He made a great impression on us right from the beginning, when we were still planning our itinerary before arriving on the island. Wayan gave us excellent advice on how much time we would need to explore both the eastern and western parts of the island and what was worth seeing in a short time. Communication with him was quick and effortless. He picked us up from the port after our arrival from Gili T without any problems and helped us with our luggage, so we could start sightseeing immediately. He was always punctual and consistently kind, patient, and very respectful. Wayan is not only a great driver with excellent knowledge of the island, but also a talented and creative photographer.   Wayan is a fantastic tour guide. My partner and I booked him at 9:30am for same day and he was with us by 10am. He gave us the option of where we wanted to go and was a very safe and reliable driver. The car had great aircon and was very comfortable for the journeys in between. He had good English too which was helpful as he provided a lot of local insight. At each spot, he took great care of us by queuing for photo spots and allowing us to stand in the shade as it was a very hot day. He also took a lot of great photos! Booking with Wayan also meant that we didn’t have to stress about the roads of Penida. They were very narrow and rocky with lots of blind spots but Wayan took great care by constantly alerting other cars of our presence and drove very patiently and safely. This made our trip a lot more hassle free as we didn’t have to worry about scooter or car hire ourselves on unfamiliar roads.
