  I paid a total of IDR 9,000,000 for what was sold to me as an express visa service. Before paying, I confirmed multiple times that my visa would be issued before my travel date, and I was reassured each time. It had been been over 4 business days as of right now. By right Express visa should be processed within 24 to 48hrs and have the outcome before 72hours. The standard process takes 3 to 5 day or more. So clearly there is an issue, they take things super lightly as well. Has a don’t care attitude. They know how to protect themselves with templated answers like: “it could take up to 5 days” — but at the same time they kept assuring me “tomorrow” or even “within the next hour”. All this happened during the riots in Jakarta, which they used as an excuse at the very last minute. Based on this experience, I do not believe my application was ever actually submitted under express mode. They have visibility on whats going on in their country. They could told me before making the payment.
