  I always had good experience with the embassy. When they had VFS - that's when the experience started to worsen. For my Schengenvisum im 2022 VFS staff couldn't explain to me which document she wanted and kept on writing back that I had to provide info to my best knowledge. Anyway, the Visa was issued D-1 of my flight and I could actually pick it up at the embassy instead at VFS. As I had to take 3hrs flight to get my passport back, I decided to simply change my ticket and thought that the embassy staff tried his best to help me - and I was grateful for his effort. However, the Chancenkarte was another story. The lady was not doing her job properly. My visa was wrongly classified and my documents were not properly filed, leading to visa rejection. Instead of reapplying, I took them to Court in Berlin and I was granted the visa, i.e. there's a written document. I sent them renewed Sperrkonto and the embassy replied that my application for Visa is being considered. To cut the story short

  Educate the locket staff no 3 to say 'SORRY' and accept the mistakes she made about the information earlier. Bad experience because I think its not fully my mistakes, I wont go to that hard arguments if the first thing she said to me was sorry. I do accept my mistakes too but in the end I thought she is going to say sorry but NOT EVEN A WORD.

  I took me 72 days to move from “on waiting list” to “ready to submit” in the auslandportal (probably because it coincides with the summer break?). But once my working visa application was submitted and reviewed in the portal, it only took 12 days (including weekends) to get it approved. In my case, I did not find the staff rude at all; they were simply firm and strict which helped to speed up the process. As long as you read all the instructions carefully and bring all the required documents (in the correct order! and bring your own pens) you will be fine. Danke!

  Even for business visa , it takes soo LONGG, now we are 2 days before our flight and still dont get the visa , it seems like we cancel all of our schedule in Germany, I don't have any what are they doing. Really bad experience.
