I came at 2:30pm on a Monday to extend my visa on arrival. I paid online and already had all my documents printed (payment receipt, original visa, departure flight confirmation. I was only there for the photo (biometrics). They take your passport, I waited less than 10 minutes, the lady asked me a few quick questions then had my photo taken and passport handed back. She only looked at my printed flight confirmation. She said it may take a week to get my visa via email, and gave me some contacts if I don't get it. Super easy and efficient process, amazing! Just make sure you have your knees and shoulders covered.

The entire process was very straightforward and easy. The staff is incredibily helpful and kind. We went there to extend our B1 visa. We didn’t submit the online visa extension request beforehand because the website was not working. We later found out that you should select “Services” from the main menu and then submit the extension request through “Find Existing Stay Permit”. A friendly lady at the counter helped us submit the online request there. You need to pay 500,000 IDR in cash at the bank in front of the office, or you can pay online by credit card, although your bank may charge additional fees. With the proof of payment and the online extension request submitted, you then go to the counter, where they keep your passport and give you a ticket. When it is your turn, you go into the small office next to the counters, where two friendly officers briefly interview you about your travel plans in Indonesia. We went on a Monday morning and it was quite crowded, I would say. Howeve

I extended my visa here, and everything went smoothly. I extended my visa online in advance and then had to come here in person. Everything went very quickly; the process was completed in 15 minutes. I was asked a few questions about my onward journey and what I was doing in Indonesia and a photo was taken. Make sure you wear long pants and no open shoes. Otherwise, you can rent a sarong for 20,000.
