  Be carefull when offered to go into their Blue Sky Lounge. I am a Sky Priority Platinum Elite Plus, and at the time of check in, i was flying with Business class. Normally, i get a free lounge pass and 1 more pass for a guest as a Platinum Elite Plus member. In this Airport its not applicable. They made me pay for my son who could have got in for free as my guest. The person in Blue Sky and the person in charge of Garuda at the check in counter also insist its a long time policy of Garuda Indonesia. Yet i was flying to Taipei last week with China Airlines on economy class and abled to get into the Sky Team Priority lounges in Jakarta and in Taipei. So i dont what this Airport policy is all about. Not serving the Elite customers who have been loyal to fly with Garuda Indonesia for sure.

  1. Modern & Well-Maintained Facilities The airport has a modern terminal with a design that blends Melayu (local culture) and contemporary architecture. The terminal area is clean and comfortable. 2. Capacity & Infrastructure Improvements Expanded terminal size: from ~29,000 m² with plans to expand up to 44,000 m². Increased number of check-in counters, garbarata (aerobridges), apron (aircraft parking) space, and lengthened runway to accommodate more and larger aircraft. 3. Good Operational Performance / Punctuality During peak traffic times like the “arus balik” (returning flow after holidays), OTP (On-Time Performance) is relatively high (~82 %) which is above the national average (~74 %) in some periods. They manage sizeable passenger volumes with safety and coordination during busy times like Lebaran / Idul Fitri. 4. Certifications & Status SSK II received a certificate from ACI (Airport Council International) under the “Voice of the Customer” initiative, meaning recognit

  Great international airport located near the city of Pekanbaru, the capital city of Riau province. It is well-maintained, clean, with clear indication, and signs to go and places in the area. It is also disability friendly ♿️ for those with wheelchairs. Toilets are clean and well-managed. There is a special room for nursery. Various restaurants, local souvenirs shops, local food and more services are also available. Executive lounge is also available. The airport is disability friendly as well ♿️
