  Highly recommend applying for your stay permit by yourself! I recently completed my Investor KITAS onshore conversion directly through the Tangerang Immigration Office without using a third-party visa agency. ​Because it was my first time navigating the system independently, I had to update and revise my documents a few times. However, the experience was incredibly smooth and positive. The staff and immigration agents were exceptionally professional, friendly, and showed an immense amount of patience with me to ensure everything was correctly submitted in the system. ​The process is clear, transparent, and completely manageable.   Visited in late May 2022 There are 3 ways of creating new passport or extending your passport: 1. Download and go to m-paspor app on Friday at 2PM. You can fill form, pick a place and date when you want to proceed in the immigration office 2. Go to an immigration office during working days. Remember to arrive at 6 AM to be safe to get the walk-in quantity (there is limited number for general walk-ins and elder walk-ins). 3. Weekends can work too at some smaller office, usually only Saturday. You will need to come early as well. I arrived at 6.30 AM and I was the 27th out of 30 limit number of walk-ins. Chance was very narrow and I was pretty lucky. Parking lot is big but due to numbers of people come in to do this passport thing, the parking lot can be pretty crowded. Officers there are very helpful, if you dont know what to do, how to fill the form etc, just ask them. There is a spot to charge and a few tables to write.   Very smooth process once you have an appointment. Mine was supposed to be at 10.00am, I was approached by someone at the reception, took my passport to see for the biometric appointment and gave me my queue ticket, so as it was fast, I even had it earlier than the fixed appointment time. This is my third time going to this Kontör and I always witness a better process and improvement compared to tg previous year, which is very relaxing for a foreigner being approved to stay in a country no matter which one. Great service, and support provided which is now also improved with some office staff who speak English which was my struggle 3 years ago. Thank you

  Always a bit nervous and scared when visiting place like government office (especially there's not much reviews), but came home satisfied I came to renew my passport after registering online, so there are not many queues because it is already scheduled (even though I came too early, I was still served well) and the results are completed in 4 working days All the officers are good, starting from the parking security guards, queue officers, to the officers at the passport service itself. They are friendly, provide sufficient information when asked I came with only the information I had from the m-passport application, so I'm very grateful they didn't ask for any strange documents Just don't forget to always prepare photocopies for every document requirement requested (ohhhh, and a 10,000 stamp/ materai) Keep it up 👍 the system has begun to be well organized, coupled with technological advances
