“A TIMELESS OASIS IN BANDAR LAMPUNG” Our short weekend getaway took an unexpected turn when our initial plans fell through, but it led us to the Akar Hotel, and we are so glad it did! Despite being established in the 90s, the property is impeccably maintained and exudes a classic, resort style charm that feels both nostalgic and fresh. From the moment you pull into the spacious parking lot under a canopy of trees, you feel the breezy Bandar Lampung air. The open space lobby with its high ceilings, warm woody tones, and lush green foliage creates a perfect harmony with the antique architecture. A massive thank you to Mr. Fadly (Sales) He is a true S.T.A.R.! He delivered a top notch experience from start to finish, personally showing us the grounds and the rooms. He invited us to breakfast, and it was exceptional. The variety of Indonesian, Asian, and Western cuisine was impressive and delicious. The staff was welcoming us nicely. But they need to prepare the amenities before the guests arrived. The hotel is in the great location, big pool.

The place is nice. But the service is terrible. The HDMI splitter in the ballroom was broken, and the audio wasn't working. When renting a room here, you still have to pay for tennis court use. According to the receptionist, it's 100 rupiah per hour, even though you've already paid for the room. Furthermore, the water in the room is weak and the hot water takes a long time to come out. Not recommended if you look for using their facilities It's a shame.
