  Place is fancy and rich heritage. Service pretty good. Foods varies but too sweet I think could be better! No buttter with kangkung please… weird sweet fried chicken… blue rice is ok

  We had a wonderful dinner at Plataran Bandung to celebrate some important new milestones in life with my friends, and it was truly memorable. The manager, Ricko, was exceptionally warm and attentive, offering such high levels of hospitality that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding — beautifully prepared traditional and authentic Indonesian dishes that were full of rich flavors. Every plate was delicious and satisfying. If you’re looking for a special place with great ambiance, excellent service, and fantastic food, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

  We recently had the pleasure of enjoying an à la carte lunch at Plantaran Bandung, and it was a truly delightful experience. The ambiance felt almost private, creating a serene setting that made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every need was met. The dishes were absolutely delicious, particularly the rawon, which was rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The sate was another highlight, tender and seasoned to perfection. Each plate not only tasted fantastic but also showcased the artistry of the chefs. Overall, Plantaran Bandung provided a wonderful lunch experience that combined excellent service with exceptional cuisine. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal. It was pricy but the quality has its price!

  Plataran never fails with their exquisite service and quality of food. Had a great time dining here on the 31st, great meal to end the year. Hats off for service and quality. Waiter was very friendly and communicative, recommended a lot of the dishes I chose. All were very excellent and tasty. Dendeng Batokok was the most recommended, and I was shocked that it was only a teeny bit spicy and very crunchy. I must say the Cumi Bakar is still my favorite for having a lot of flavour. Flavors were very punchy and aromatic, a good representation of Indonesian food at a high class level. Desserts were also very good and very worth it for a higher price with the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. Dining area is very spacious and can very easily accomodate hundreds of people/dozens of tables. There's also a large private dining area that can be used seperately or combined depending on the size of guests.
