  Lovely affordable hotel conveniently situated in the heart of Malang. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We had room service which was great and delivered fast. Room was clean, bathroom looked dated but clean. Laundry facilities were expensive, but there was a laundry across the road where we paid local rates for and it was also delivered to hotel after the wash.

  Staff were generally very helpful honest and highly trustworthy during all our encounters but commucation in English need to be improved to avoid misunderstanding of information relayed. Laundry service was efficient. Generally, we were happy with favehotel. If at all we can suggest something to improve further your service standard, we feel the Management could consider providing more intensive training to frontline staff to be more forthgoing to welcome guests and assist to open the doors to make it easy for guest to carry their luggage as there were no concierge service.

  I stayed at Five Hotel Malang for a short trip and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel looks modern and clean, and the atmosphere feels calm from the moment you enter the lobby. The room was spacious enough, the bed was really comfortable, and everything was well-prepared. I also noticed that the housekeeping team kept the room tidy every day, which made the stay even better. The staff were very polite and always ready to help. I asked for an early check-in and they really tried their best to make it happen, so I really appreciate that. Their customer service definitely exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was also satisfying. Not a huge variety like a 5-star hotel, but everything tasted good and fresh. I especially liked the local menu options. The dining area was clean and cozy, so it was nice to start the day there. The location is strategic and easy to reach. There are cafés, minimarkets, and restaurants nearby, and it doesn’t take long to go to the city center or tourist

  This hotel is highly recommended for both leisure stays and business trips in the Malang area. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and the hotel offers a variety of Korean menu options.
