  I spent a wonderful 3 nights here before venturing out to Lake Toba and Berastagi. This is an incredibly affordable JW Marriott property. It’s a spacious, older hotel that is kept in pristine condition. My room on the 29th floor was excellent, and lift times were very fast. A special thank you to Shanty at the front desk, who was absolutely delightful and incredibly helpful during my check-in and stay. The location is handy with DeliPark Mall diagonally across the street, and major tourist sites are a cheap, quick Grab ride away. The breakfast buffet has a massive variety and is highly economical (Rp 156,000 / A$12.30 with a Bonvoy discount). Having now finished my loop through Samosir and Berastagi 5 star properties, I realize this was by far the best-managed hotel of my trip. Don't hesitate to book it as your gateway to the region!

  The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Service with a smile. The location was great and the hotel was clean and orderly.We got our room at 20th floor with good view of the city The amenities were all functioning especially the gym, sauna, steambath and jacuzzi. The f&b staff were also very helpful and obliging. Only 1 incident where a female guest brought her 2 sons about 12 years old into the female section of the sauna/steambath/jacuzzi area which was distressing to my wife. The staff on duty was not around to help correct the situation. Nevertheless upon our complaint they were very apologetic n assured us it was an oversight n necessary action will be taken to avoid its recurrence. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there n also ate at their Jade Restaurant on 2 occasions. We have no doubt we will be back to this hotel in future

  I recently stayed at JW Marriott Medan and had a truly wonderful experience from arrival until departure. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, and every staff member I met was friendly, warm, and always willing to help.||The food was amazing with so many delicious options to choose from, making every meal enjoyable during my stay.||I would also like to give special appreciation to Puspa at the reception for being extremely helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. She made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant. Special thanks as well to Feri at Marriott Café, who genuinely took great care of me and made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest.||Thank you to the entire team for the outstanding hospitality. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Medan.

  One of the most memorable staycations I’ve had in Medan is undoubtedly at JW Marriott Medan. Having stayed here several times, I recently returned and chose the Executive Deluxe Room, as I was in need of a well-deserved break after more than two weeks of traveling abroad. The room was spacious and newly renovated, offering a clean, modern, and refreshed ambiance. What stood out most was the stunning city view of Medan, which could be enjoyed not only from the bedroom but also from the bathroom, where the bathtub overlooks the skyline—an especially relaxing touch. As always, I was genuinely impressed by the overall quality of service, as well as the facilities and amenities provided. From the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna to the fitness centre, restaurant, and lounge, everything I needed for a comfortable and rejuvenating stay was readily available.
