  Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding with the staff regarding two birthday cakes that were left for safekeeping. Both cakes went missing, and we never received a clear explanation hmm

  Im not recommend you to stay at this hotel. Its an old hotel, not clean. The service is good, but the hotel is a big NO. The room got BLACK MOLD. For god sake.Stay at your own risk. Have to wear the hotel slipper all the time because the floor is too sticky, feels like not being mooped for long time. Bathroom floor alsi not clean. I pick this hotel because its close to my destination i plan to go, but big disapointment.

  I was there from 29th December 2016 - 1st January 2017, it was all about my family occasion! Check-in procedures was great but unfortunately my Bahasa Indonesia not that good and I need to speak to the Manager who are fluent in English. Room was comfortable and reasonable at the value, breakfast buffet are much more localize but worth trying it! * SPICY at times! Attended my cousin wedding at the banquet and it was awesome and very nice ambience! Air condition can be improved from the rooms to the wedding reception area. Housekeeping staff did their best! Affordable and a great hotel!!! About 30-45mins car ride to Pekanbaru Airport!

  I’ve stayed at New Hollywood Hotel twice already, and I honestly find it one of the most comfortable options in Pekanbaru for the price. While it’s a few kilometers from the city center, the comfort more than makes up for it. The room design is modern, clean, and nicely renovated—feels like they just redid everything not too long ago. Furniture looks new, and amenities are complete, even including a hairdryer in the bathroom, which is rare in this price range. The bed is super comfy A couple of downsides to be aware of: The hotel is just a few buildings away from a bistro/pub/cafe, and you can hear the music beats inside your room until midnight. The spa and fitness area are not included in your stay—you’ll need to pay extra if you want to use them. Also, they only open around 11 AM, so don’t expect an early morning workout. The reception staff could use a bit more training. During both my stays, they seemed more focused on joking with each other than handling check-ins profession
